In SAS Enterprise Guide, one or more of the Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, might be unavailable in the Send To list. This problem will most likely occur when the associated product, such as Microsoft Word, does not have the SAS^® Add-in for Microsoft Office licensed and installed. This behavior is by design.

Different output types exhibit different behavior, as explained next:

For SAS Report, as long as the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is licensed and installed on the SAS Enterprise Guide machine, then the Send To feature is active for Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

For HTML, the Send To feature is active for Microsoft Word regardless of whether the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is installed and active in Microsoft Word.

For RTF, the Send To feature works only for Microsoft Word and only if the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is installed and active in Microsoft Word.
